Log preparation

Logs are cut to length, debarked and, where needed, chipped — ready for the peeling line.

Veneer production

Prepared logs are peeled into continuous veneer, clipped, sorted and stacked. Knife grinding keeps the cut clean.

Veneer drying

Wet veneer is dried to target moisture on platen, mesh-belt or roller dryers, then cooled and graded.

Veneer repair & composing

Defects are patched and narrow sheets are joined into full-width veneer ready for lay-up.

Glue application

Adhesive is prepared and metered onto the veneer with roller or pneumatic spreaders.

Lay-up & assembly

Glued and dry veneers are stacked in alternating grain direction and squared for pressing.

Pressing

Cold pre-pressing consolidates the pack; hot presses cure the panel to full bond strength.

Panel finishing

Panels are sized, edge-trimmed, puttied, sanded to thickness and, if required, embossed or film-coated.
